Not far from the sea, Cor Schaap works on oil paintings in an impressionist style with mainly local and regional subjects. Images from the past and present, made in the studio or on location in the open air. The work can be divided into regular studio work and, from 2024, more comprehensive, artistic gallery work. The latter is distinguished by a new suggestive style and design. Schaap's paintings have been exhibited in various galleries and exhibitions.
